Mengla County Has Launched the First Batch of Land Consolidation Projects for the Work of Balancing the Occupation and Compensation of Cultivated Land
This project is located in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, involving the improvement of 10,362 mu of cultivated land in 9 towns and 15 villages of Mengla County. The total construction scale is 894 hectares, and the development scale is 753 hectares. It is expected that 642 hectares of new cultivated land will be added (including 365 hectares of new paddy fields), and the area for quality improvement and transformation will be 96.50 hectares (including 2.26 hectares of dry land to paddy fields). This project was carried out strictly in accordance with the "Construction Standards for Land Development and Consolidation Engineering in Yunnan Province", which greatly improved the local agricultural production environment.
