The Safety Disposal Project of Historical Arsenic-Alkali Residue (Field Mixed Residue) in the Xilinjiang Mining Area of Lengshuijiang
This project is located in Lengshuijiang City, Hunan Province. The project's governance scope covers four waste residue storage yards. The main construction contents include the construction of hazardous waste landfills, the transfer and landfill of residue piles, anti-seepage at the bottom of the residue storage yards, the construction of residue retaining walls, flood interception systems, site closure anti-seepage and ecological restoration projects, road projects and monitoring projects, etc. The total area involved is 95,066 cubic meters, and the total amount of waste residue to be disposed of is 378,539 cubic meters. By adopting the process of local membrane covering for anti-seepage on the site and full coverage of the site with membrane covering for anti-seepage, the leakage of heavy metal leachate is effectively controlled, achieving the treatment goal of transforming from disorderly discharge before treatment to orderly centralized collection and disposal after treatment.
