Aerospace Tank employs its proprietary MFBR™ (Moving-Fixed Bed Biofilm Reactor) process—an innovative coupling of Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) and Fixed Bed Biofilm Reactor (FBBR) technologies. MFBR™ represents a comprehensive upgrade over conventional activated-sludge, traditional fluidized-bed, and biological contact-oxidation systems.

The technology harnesses specialized microbial consortia for highly efficient degradation. Ultra-high-surface-area filter media serve as carriers, allowing rapid biofilm formation upon wastewater entry. The dense, active biofilms on the media utilize strong oxidative decomposition to fully exploit:

• microbial metabolism

• bio-flocculation

• physical adsorption and interception by both biofilm and media

• stepwise predation along the food chain in the direction of flow

These synergistic mechanisms achieve exceptional pollutant removal. In addition, the reactor’s hydrodynamic and structural design cultivates a stable Simultaneous Nitrification–Denitrification (SND) environment, ensuring rapid pollutant degradation and elimination.
