The Ultra-Low Emission Renovation Project of the Steel Slag Treatment Area of a Certain Company of Wuhan Iron and Steel Group

This project adopts a tower-type wet dust removal process. The first phase has a processing air volume of 280,000 m³/h, mainly dealing with the water vapor and dust generated in the hot sealing pool, hot splashing field and water spraying station with desulfurization slag tank during the cooling and crushing process of steel slag under pressure. The second-phase treatment air volume is 150,000 m³/h, mainly dealing with the dust generated by all belt transfer stations, screening rooms, rod mills, silos and other facilities of the steel slag magnetic separation line. The dust concentration at the outlet is ≤50mg/Nm³. It has the advantages of small floor space, reliable performance, simple maintenance and low investment cost when dealing with dust with good hydrophilicity and high specific gravity.
