This device is an efficient system designed for the continuous enrichment and reuse of aerobic granular sludge in wastewater treatment processes. Its core function is to separate granular sludge with excellent settling properties and high biological activity from the mixed return sludge using an inclined-plate hydrocyclone.
The separated granular sludge is then transported back to the biochemical treatment stage, enabling side-stream screening and targeted enrichment of granular sludge.
This process effectively increases the concentration of activated sludge in the system, forming a dense and well-settling sludge structure. It significantly enhances the removal efficiency of organic pollutants and total nitrogen, thereby improving the operational stability and overall performance of the wastewater treatment system.
