Vertical Fiber Disc Filter
The vertical fiber disc filter is composed of two main systems:
Vertical Fiber Disc Filtration System
Backwashing + Sludge Discharge System
The vertical fiber disc filtration system includes specially designed fiber filter media, supporting frames, and water collection pipes. This system serves as the core component for efficient solid-liquid separation.
The backwashing system adopts a traveling bridge linear suction method, which enables rapid return to normal filtration after cleaning without requiring stored backwash water.

Product Description
Operating Process:
1. Filtration Stage
Raw water enters the filter tank through the inlet pipe and is evenly distributed throughout the tank. The water flows from both sides of the filter cloth toward the inner side, where suspended solids and flocs are retained on the outer surface of the filter cloth. The filtered water is discharged through the outlet at the bottom of the tank, completing the filtration process.
2. Backwashing / Sludge Discharge Stage
As filtration continues, suspended solids gradually accumulate on the filter surface, increasing flow resistance and causing the water level inside the tank to rise. Once the set level is reached, the level switch triggers the backwashing mechanism.
At this stage, the vertical filter panels remain stationary while the bridge carriage moves linearly along the guide rail. The sludge pump is activated to perform line-by-line vacuum suction across the filter cloth surface, removing accumulated flocs. The extracted sludge-water mixture is discharged through the sludge discharge pipe into the sludge channel.
After cleaning, the filter cloth immediately returns to normal filtration mode, ensuring continuous and stable operation of the system.
