Equipment Introduction
The integrated food wastewater treatment equipment integrates a flotation unit and a biological treatment unit. Food wastewater first passes through the flotation unit, where flocculants and coagulants are added to the wastewater, and measures such as flotation and sedimentation are used to remove some organic pollutants such as animal and vegetable oils and insoluble impurities from the wastewater, reducing the load on subsequent biological treatment; then it enters the biological treatment unit for further treatment to remove pollutants such as COD, BOD, and SS from the wastewater. The effluent meets the Class III standard of the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" (GB8978-1996) or relevant standards.
Characteristics of Food Wastewater
1. Variable wastewater volume: The food industry ranges from small-scale household industries to large-scale factories, with a wide variety of products and significant differences in raw materials, processes, and scales. Wastewater volume varies from several m3/d to several thousand m3/d.
2. High biodegradable components: For general food industries, since the raw materials originate from natural organic substances, the components in their wastewater are mainly natural organic substances and do not contain toxic substances. Therefore, they are highly biodegradable, with BOD/COD as high as 0.8.
3. Production varies with the seasons, and the water quality and quantity of wastewater also vary with the seasons.
4. Wastewater contains various microorganisms, including pathogenic microorganisms, and is prone to decay and odor.
5. High concentration wastewater is common.
6. High nitrogen and phosphorus content in wastewater.
